The Ramones are one of our all-time favorite bands, so when we decided to make a record to help support this project we just knew that it made perfect sense to pay tribute to a huge influence on Black Tambourine. While the recordings are still in progress, we’re super happy with how they’re sounding and we think we definitely put the BT stamp on the songs. And to make it even more special, we’ve enlisted some old friends and special guests to help out on vocals: Linda Smith, Rose Melberg, Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls, and Jenny Robbins (from the wonderful band Honeymoon Diary). And don’t forget, as a Kickstarter backer you’ll also get a unique color vinyl version of the EP that will be unavailable elsewhere.
